Vtech Mobigo Product Description

Mobigo Review The Vtech Mobigo toy is a really cool and fun electronic toy. More than just a hand-held game console, the Mobigo is predominantly an education tool that has revolutionized the toy industry with its learning features and attractive price tag. Most children love to play with their parent's stuff and some of these things often end up being destroyed or torn into pieces. This is a fact. Unlike children's toys, "toys" for the big boys and girls are not neccessarily "kid-friendly". One great example is the cell phone. One reason for this is that adult gadgets have more advance features than kid's toys. Thanks to the Vtech learning systems, with their educational toys like the v.tech reader and the Mobigo toy however, children can now pretend that they are mommy or daddy while learning from their favorite characters like Disney Princess, Shrek, and Dora the explorer. Children love to pretend like they are adults, which is why lots of toys are associated with, or based on adult-life. Examples of these are cooking items, mini appliances, play vacuums and many more. But due to the advancement of technology more and more children are now more attracted to electronic toys. The Vtech Mobigo is one toy that will surely entertain the kids of today.

The Vtech Mobigo Has a Touch Screen and a QWERTY Keyboard

The Vtech MobigoTouch Learning System has a kid-friendly touch screen that is designed specifically for children's small fingers. Much like the fisher-price ixl, with this feature children are able to experience playing in a whole new level. It also has a QWERTY keyboard similar to cell phones that can easily slide up when not needed and slide down as desired. Only the Vtech Mobigo toy boasts a rather realistic QWERTY keyboard that also prepares children to learn how to type and interact with gadgets giving them an electronic edge. With the help of this electronic toy, it will be easier for kids to use advanced devices that they will soon encounter.

Different Games for Children Are Included In The Vtech Mobigo

The Vtech Mobigo toy comes with seven different games to play with. It has a cartridge included in the package that contains these seven fun games. It also includes a drawing page, empty coloring book page, and an instrument page where children can play musical instruments - like a guitar, a piano, drums, and more!
This portable electronic handheld toy engages children through play while learning. Like the leapster explorer, they can bring it anywhere they want, in the car, on the bus, at school, at the mall, the park, the beach, or wherever. It also has a colorful look and a well-built, sturdy design. The Mobigo by Vtech toy is the perfect learning tool for children ages 3 to 7 years old. It requires 4 AA batteries. With this electronic toy kids can flick, slide, or tap, allowing them to pick the way they want to play and learn about colors, shapes, spelling, math, logic, and more! More than just play, kids actually learn lots of things such as numbers, shapes, spelling and letters in a fun and cool way. Mobigo Games

My daughters each received a Mobigo for their 4th birthday and they love them. They were their favorite gift. I love that they teach them educational things. My one daughter was doing math and telling me things like, "mom, two plus two is four." The games range from preschool thru 2nd grade and you can hook the device to a computer and download progress reports to see what your child is learning and achieving. This is a great purchase and a great educational toy!

This thing is absolutely bombproof. Our three year old son has dropped it, slobbered on it, poured syrup on it, touched the screen after his hands have been into almost everything....and it still runs! It was engineered with a 3 year old in mind--even the touchscreen continues to respond instantly after being through World War III. My wife and I have been raving about this for some time, but today was the kicker--as my wife drove off with the mobigo on the top of the car (my fault). She saw it fall to the ground and the game come out. After rescuing it she popped the game back in and it continued to rock. I wish we designed military equipment to stand up against such abuse.

I bought the pink MobiGO Touch Learning System for my granddaughter's 4th birthday. She won't put it down. She carries it everywhere. Just perfect for little hands. Her favorite game so far is Shrek. No regrets so far.

Biggest selling point of all... OUT OF THE BOX READY (minus batteries). Every year we celebrate our daughters birthday at my mothers, she lives in the country were internet is not available what a disappointment the Leapster Explorer was compared to this. It required you to load games via internet to use it. We returned it and bought the MobiGo instead. My Daughter loves it and she is only 3. It is a bit big for her hands but she is small for her age.

Love the games happy to find some games that are not indorse by Disney or Nickelodeon. We bough the MR. Men.

Highly recommend this item.

I just gifted my three year old granddaughter with this educational toy and she is loving it. I was so happy to see that this has become one of her favorite toys and mostly that she is learning so much at the same time.

I purchased this for my 4 year old adopted (internationally) daughter. It is amazing how quickly she has learned how to navigate all the games and even play advanced levels. I love the volume control! It is not noisy if you do not want it to be. Great for in the car on a long trip.

Got this for our nieces and they absolutely love it. It's even caused a few fights.Battery life is good and they tell me it's perfect for long car trips. The screen is bright enough to use in the car. They love the games and enjoy competing with each other and sometimes helping each other out.

We purchased this item for our godson's 5th birthday. It was a hit from the time we opened it (I had already opened, added batteries, registered online). His mother and father are very happy since this is now the new "leverage" toy (if you don't do this, we will have to take your Mobigo away). He loves it.

I purchased Toy Story and Mr. Men/Little Miss game for him. His mom and dad purchased the blue storage bag so it goes everywhere with them. They especially enjoy this game when going out to dinner as it provides a respite from bored behavior while waiting for dinner. We are looking forward to purchasing Dora the Explorer and Cars for Christmas.
Great Educational Toy!!!

My son is three years old, and he is so in love with this game! I bought the carrying case with it which I would recommend also because it holds the game and the extra games too so they won't get lost. I was a little apprehensive about a game for a three year old, but some of the games are really easy even for a three year old. I very much recommend this toy to anyone thinking about getting it.
Fantastic fun and educational value

Just in time for a car trip, this wonderful toy appeared on our doorstep. It's so well made and well thought out for the preschool/kindergarten crowd of today. Nice graphics light up the screen, and there are plenty of games on the included cartridge (though my little one will love the Toy Story games when I wind up buying that one for her).

Cons: A little difficult for little hands to pop up the screen, and even I could not reliably trace the lines and shapes with my finger on the touch screen (you really need to be exact with it).

But those are minor points in light of the versatility of this device. It teaches so many concepts and skills, from matching and shapes to manual dexterity and concepts like left and right. A huge hit with both my preschooler and me.
Great for all early learners including autistic children!!!!!

I have purchased this item for both my grandchildren ages 5 and under. This was an amazing experience for my 5 year old autistic grandchild. It has given him self esteem and an opportunity to show to his family his intelligence. He has mastered 2 game discs in one month. He finds it a treat, greatly respects the unit and is eager to show everyone how intelligent he is.

I would highly recommend this for any autistic child, the touch screen has increased his ability to draw and trace in certain games. We are amazed at his knowledge of the alphabet. Above, all he enjoys this to no end, giggles when playing at the sound effects and enjoys the challenge of the timed game.

Autism creates frustration for the child in being able to communicate that he is intelligent. The mobigo has enabled him to prove this at the early age of five.
