If You Can Plug It In, You Can Project It - With the EyeClops Projector

The Eyeclops mini projector puts big-screen projection capability in the palm of your hand. It's easy to create your own home theater -- just connect your favorite media player or game console to the Eyeclops' audio-video inputs (connector cables not included), turn on the power, and aim the mini projector at a wall or ceiling. With built-in speakers and a projected screen size of up to 60 inches, your favorite movies and video games will take on a whole new look and sound!

The Eyeclops projector works with DVD players, video game consoles, handheld devices, and more! The mini projector's simple, kid-friendly features include a pivoting arm for adjusting the projection angle, a volume control, and a focal adjustment. Unlike other larger projectors, the Eyeclops doesn't get hot, so it's safe for kids to handle.

The EyeClops Mini Projector Fits in the Palm of Your Hand

Going on a road trip? The projector unit weighs less than a pound and measures a compact 2 x 3.5 x 2.5 inches (H x W x D), so kids can easily take it along for all kinds of adventures. The projection stand features a convenient belt clip in addition to a portable battery pack that provides approximately 270 minutes of projection time -- more than enough for an outdoor screening!

The Darker the Room, the Clearer the Eye Clops Image

Whether you're projecting a film on the ceiling of your bedroom or a video game inside of your tent, the key to a clear image is a dark environment. Kids will find that even a little daylight makes the screen dim and blurry. For best results, the projector should be positioned within several feet of the projection surface, and all light sources should be covered.

Because the Eyeclops projector's on-board speakers may not provide the same quality of audio that your home speakers do, the min projector features a mini-jack audio output that allows you to connect it to headphones or external speakers. Additionally, while standard RCA cables (not included) are sufficient to connect most devices to the Eyeclops projector, certain media players and handheld devices may require special connector cables that can be purchased separately.

What's in the EyeClops Mini Projector Box

  • Projection stand/battery pack
  • Swivel arm
  • A/C adaptor
  • Instruction Manual.

I bought this to take camping for a Phish concert..... We draped a white sheet over our tent, and connected this to the outputs on the "brain" unit of my in-dash DVD player in my jeep. We played concert videos with the top-off the jeep, and had crowds of kids (not in the under-18 sense) gather to drink, dance, and party away! This was certainly a hit! I was thinking of taking my expensive HD-projector from my home theater, but didn't want to risk damaging it etc, and my in-dash isn't capable of HD content anyways, so I didn't see the purpose. (but the idea of a 150+ inch screen is still one I'm contemplating for future trips)
Worth the Money

This works well. You need a really dark room. The illumination is thru your v ideo source,so you don't have to worry about the bulb [which are usually expensive...40 --50 Bucks.] It has a built in speaker which is excellent.....It also runs on a battery pack,so it is portable. It is a toy ,but adults will love it.It is well worth the money. Look around on Amazon, it is available at a very reasonable price.

I was absolutely certain I would not like this product and would end up giving it away I just received it today and quickly went into the darkest room in my house. I plugged in the projector and my DVD player and turned it on. This is a toy and it says so on the box but I was surprised on how clear the picture was, yes it's not high def but if you want hi def you pay for it.

I would suggest to anyone trying this product out go for it it is no bad for the price and has many applications for the geek who uses i[...]. So my thoughts on this product are as follows,
  1. For the price it is great.
  2. Perfect for the tinkerer who doesn't have a lot of cash.
  3. Decent quality picture.
  4. Highly portable.
So in this I would suggest to anyone who needs a small projector at a very low cost go for it.
PLEASANTLY SURPRISED!!

I have to say that I did not expect much from this projector given all the negative reviews but I am so glad that I listened to my own instinct and tried it anyway. I have to say that I had some difficulty getting it to work only because of my own ignorance. You have to change the source on the DVD player to switch to the projector. Anway, once I figured this out I could not believe how fantastic this was. I projected it onto my son's pull down window shade in his bedroom and it's like an instant movie screen. I was very pleased with the picture and sound. We can't wait to try it in the backyard. I honestly can't understand the negative reviews. The picture can be a little sharper (but I was projecting it pretty large). But honestly for my kids to enjoy a mini theater in their own house and/or backyard its great.

Plus I got an excellent price on Amazon compared to other retailers. I would recommend this to anyone with children. Children will give you their honest opinion and mine thought this was awesome! Bring on the popcorn!
Great for kids

My son loves this toy, the picture quality is a little fuzzy and needs to be used in complete darkness but is not bad for the price.

Our son who is 10, received a Flip camera for his birthday and then this mini projector for Christmas. He now makes his own movies and then easily projects them on to the ceiling where we can all watch them. He is very proud of his movies and we all enjoy watching them. The picture quality is fine and I'm glad about the purchase!

This projector is small and easy to set up. Great value for the price. The room has to be dark and the wall not more than about 10 feet away for good results.
Good enough

this thing is cheap and great for kids for use in the dark. If it's not dark and your not a kid spend some more money and get something else. Remember your paying a very low price for a product worth every penny. Works as well as $100 projectors i've seen in other stores.

My grandson received this for Christmas and it is in use constantly. He has a bunk bed so he shows his video games on the ceiling to play on the upper bed. Also much less at Amazon than anywhere else.
